It will accommodate any combination of up to 15 modules. Dry contacts, indicating power and optical signal status, are provided for interfacing to on-site alarm panels. Local alarms are an LED indicating voltage status and an audible alarm with a front panel mute switch.   The 517R system (shown in photo left) consists of a card cage, an external power supply, and a DC power cable. One card cage will accommodate any combination up to 17 one-inch modules. A single external power supply provides power to one or two card cages when fully loaded.
