Horizon Systems
combine telephone entry with an easy-to-read, high contrast
LCD electronic directory. Standard features of these very
affordable and reliable systems include capacity for 50%
extra names on the directory (to accommodate roommates,
etc.), four -digit entry codes, two relays, selectable
scrolling modes, full duplex communications, long distance
and PBX dialling capabilities, and voice mail
compatibility.
The "H" series
(shown at left) has a hooded enclosure and a sidelit, black
metal keypad with white letters, which make it perfect for
gated entries and other applications in which the lighting
is not very good.
The sleek (yet
rugged) moulded black metal housing of the "M" series (shown
at right) makes it the best choice for entries where an
elegant appearance is important. Programming of either
series may be done using the system's keypad, Sentex's
compact lightweight handheld programmer, or the internal
modem that is standard in each system. Extra directory names
are provided to accommodate roommates and/or spouses with
different last names.
